There once was a problem everyone had learned to live with.
Not because it was small. Not because nobody noticed it. Mostly because every system involved could point to the part it had done correctly.
The problem lived in the handoff.
One system stopped. Another began. Somewhere between the two, a person reconciled, reformatted, checked, copied, chased, translated and explained.
Eventually that work acquired respectable names.
Process. Control. Reconciliation. Workaround. "Just how we do it."
The immediate problem was always louder than the whole problem. Close the month. Get payroll out. Fix the file. Make the numbers agree.
So the gap remained.
Axioma began with a different question.
What if the person in the middle was never supposed to be the solution?
Something deemed worthy.
A proposition accepted as true.
A starting point from which the rest can be reasoned.
Axiom became Axiome.
Axiome became Axioma.
The spelling moved. The principle did not.
